I am making the ethical move because it aligns with my values as a human and as a business owner. I chose to be certified by the Ethical Coaching Collective for the same reasons — integrity, transparency and compassion.

As a psychologist, I am fully committed to only using ethical marketing approaches that align with my values, put clients first and adhere to my professional code of practice. I want to use the privilege I have to leave the world better than I found it.

As a marketing automation and sales funnel builder, I’m tired of seeing tactics that perpetuate urgency and scarcity used to make more sales. I want to be part of the change to make digital marketing more inclusive, safe, and ethical. Given the introduction of AI I think that it is more important than ever to pledge to conducting business with integrity.

I’m making the ethical move because I’m tired of being approached with ‘hard sell’ tactics. I dislike cold approaches through social media, and especially the ‘sense of urgency’ that seems to be the norm these days – buy now or the price doubles tomorrow – or spaces will all be gone. It’s manipulative and creates a sense of fear of missing out. As a therapist/coach working with sensitive clients that is absolutely not how I want to come across. My clients need to feel safe from the first moment of contact. I believe people have a right to consider in their own time if my service is right for them and, as such, I’m happy to let them decide when they are ready.

I am taking the pledge for The Ethical Move because I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of my work, driven by my love for animals and their human companions. I am committed to maintaining this essence in all that I do. I refuse to engage in manipulative marketing tactics to gain clients; instead, I am dedicated to fostering authenticity, genuineness, and sustainability in all my endeavors.

Being an eco friendly business means that I hope to see a shift in consumers being more conscious in what they buy, why they are buying, how much they buy, and the quality, sustainability and longevity of their purchases.

So glad to find you!!! I’ve been determined to find a better way to do things. I cant be part of the current sales processes. It lacks integrity and to me, that is the most important thing we have to offer our customers.

I am making the ethical move because I believe in putting people first and using business as a force of good. Unethical marketing practices are rife these days and I do not subscribe to the idea that one has to resort to them to have a successful business. Our people deserve better. And we should set the bar higher for ourselves.
