I’m taking the ethical move pledge because I believe in a world where we can thrive without having to use psychologically manipulative sales tactics to get others to give us money. I also believe that a fulfilling and abundant life is built on integrity. In our marketing, this means honoring each other’s humanity. By marketing ethically, we actively refute the exploitation and individualism that are so normalized in our world. We resist and rebuild with love, care, and devotion to collective liberation.

I am making the pledge to the ethical move because I strongly believe in being transparent and up front with all my clients. I never want to miss sell or manipulate my clients

I am making an ethical marketing pledge because I fundamentally disagree with pushy and overbearing sales tactics. I believe in respecting individuals’ autonomy and ensuring that they make the best choices for their needs without undue pressure. This pledge reflects my commitment to respecting privacy, and communicating in a way that is inclusive, truthful, and clear. By not confusing or hiding information from our audience, and making everyone feel welcome, we create a more honest and transparent marketplace.

We are making the ethical move because, at Reuseabox, we’re trying to shape a better future for people and the planet. This means challenging assumptions (especially around reuse and recycling), creating conversations around greenwashing and being committed to transparency.

I think that marketing is a world that becomes more impactful when we are transparent. We can lead people to solutions to the problems or pains they are experiencing when we understand their pains. Conversion copywriting could also be called compassionate copywriting because we are always putting the customer first. It’s a win-win for both business owners and their clients.

I am making the ethical move because I genuinely believe we can use our influencing power for good. I’m tired of predatory practices like scarcity marketing and “income claims marketing”. I’m also disconnected from the “hustle” culture that prides quantity and cheap, mass production, over quality and thoughtful products. I believe in creating genuine connections, basic decency, honest marketing and business practices.

I’m taking this pledge because I’m horrified at the amount of unqualified coaches and self proclaimed healers and “therapists” who claim to be able to help people heal their trauma, when they have no proper training, supervision or insurance, and as a result they end up doing a lot of damage. I’m also taking this pledge because I’m tired of the amount of manipulation, gaslighting, false promises and ridiculously inflated prices in my industry.

I pledge to always put people & their hearts before money, because that is how my heart works, connection, integrity, transparency are 3 of my values, I don’t believe in hustle or BS marketing tactics, I promise with me what you see, is what you get, a northern girl with grit & grace running through her veins, who will always put you, your heart, and your dreams & vision first, because being a heart led solopreneur is a calling, not just a business.
