We are making the Ethical Move because we want to stand up for the environment, and convenient consumerism and a throw away society is destroying it. We can make a difference by only using our skills for supporting positive impact projects and boycotting capitalism and corporations.

After years in digital marketing, we recognized the need for a change. Too often, we were putting our energy and expertise into brands that didn’t align with our values, sometimes even working against the causes we care about. We decided we needed to be the change, and now chose to partner with brands that prioritize sustainability, social responsibility, and a positive impact on the world.

Healing requires trust and trust must be earned. I am pledging to help hold myself accountable to earning the trust who I am offering to support. To be a trauma informed practitioner means helping people get the support they need, and not waste their time, energy or other resources on services and products they do not.

I am tired of the coachign industry manipulative tactics that prioritise money about humans relationships. Money should be the result of relationships and integrity. An exchange, not a one way street.

I always thought marketing was icky. This belief/feeling/experience meant I resisted for far too long stepping into my now role (that I absolutely love) as a copywriter. Now I know, marketing isn't icky – icky people make marketing icky. I am pledging to the ethical move because I want to be part of the solution. I want to give people a different experience of marketing and making a purchase. I want gross marketing to be a thing of the past. I want more people to be exposed to more good, ethical marketing and voting with their dollar for the kind of world we need to see more of. And I want a better future for our planet. Thank you for the work you do, I'm so stoked to make the pledge. Stacey

I'm taking the pledge because I'm tired of seeing products and services marketed unethically. I'm also tired of being asked to create marketing collateral for products that are questionable at best and downright dangerous at worst.
