As a practitioner of implicitly manipulative mediums, I believe art & design has the power to change the way people speak, think, feel, respond & interact. As such, it is my moral obligation to educate & empower people about community, the environment and the human condition. I strive to make work that is functional, accessible & delightful in ways that respect human rights, human experience and human effort. My work is born from a place of empathy for the people I serve.

I commit to telling the truth about the world by drafting a helpful code of public discourse and by creating work that encourages more laughter and joy. I pursue problems worth solving by manufacturing demand for things that are essential. I offer my help by addressing the environmental, social and cultural crises that demand attention. And I engage in open dialogue by prioritizing lasting and democratic forms of communication. By taking the pledge I commit to uphold these beliefs and ideals in everything I do.
